Highly experienced in the treatment of gilded and related decorated surfaces, including research into historic composition and specific conservation treatments. We use traditional methods and modern materials to sympathetically conserve all mediums and forms of enrichment.

Over the past 25 years we have been involved in the conservation of many gilded items from the burnt remains of Uppark house to large suites of gilded furniture from Historic houses

Our in-house analysis team is capable of determining the original schemes of gilding and estimating dates of historic restoration schemes.
